T.A.M.E (Teaching and Achieving Mustang Excellence)
Train the Trainer Shortcourse.
This class is offered to our community to benefit wild horse adopters and trainers. It will be an intensive seminar in the instruction of proven Wild Horse handling and training techniques. We will feature regional experts in 7 classroom sessions and 1 live demo/Adoption. Classes will be held Tuesday evenings at 6:00 beginning July 30, and the gentling demonstration and BLM Adoption will be held September 14th at the Bent Wire Ranch.
The course is free, but a $50 deposit will be expected with registration. Deposit will be returned after student attends 5 of the 7 classroom sessions plus the live demo AND either provides proof of serious, valid adoption application or brings qualified adopter to session. If registration exceeds seating capacity, the Central Oregon Wild Horse Coalition will determine attendees based on need.
Completion of adoption application does not commit applicant to adopt a wild horse.
